Jesus, can we stop you from making an AMD machine abomination...?

Lemme draw up a new build for you first.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Because the Intel has MUCH higher instructions per clock. Each core is a multitude more powerful than the AMD and the AMD also produces more heat while requiring more power. The Intel is the literal no-brainer. AMD has long since given up its thrown as the best CPU manufacturer.

heat is also a very asked question.bt i am using a liquid cooler with 240mm radiator. i want to use my pc for work.I want to run many programs in one time.I opened lots of software at a time.thats why my pc hanged sometime.Thas why i need a pc with more ghz that i can run more softs and more programs at one time.thats why i am choosing amd.and for better gaming i have chossed gtx 960.Now pls tell me amd will be good for me or not?

It will be, but the Intel will be far better for much less money. There's literally no reason to get the AMD when the Intel is cheaper. The GTX 960 is also a very poor value GPU. Just buy the build I linked above and you're set to have an awesome gaming experience.

A good 500w would be plenty for that system.

Where are you shopping/located?

The build's also a bit awkward--what's it being used for?

What programs are you referring to? What are the specs of your current system and when does it 'hang'?

Clock speed isn't all that determines performance. Cpus of different architecture will perform differently even at the same clock speed due to a difference in instructions per clock (IPC).

An analogy would be like car wheels not all being the same size and how rpm doesn't alone determine speed.

Why a z97 board for a locked cpu?

As I have said many, many times before, you should ditch the AMD CPU and get the Intel Core i5 which is far better. Then get the R9 390 and you're good. But no, a 9590 is not a good CPU to start with. It produces WAY too much heat to cool properly, you CANNOT overclock it because it's already at 5 GHz and trying to get more out of it is nonsense, and it's got far worse single-threaded performance than the i5.

Again, get the i5 and R9 390.
