Hello,

Is this normal running at under 1.5GHz when at 20-50 load? Also when I am in a game such as Garry's Mod the load is not effected. I recently upgraded to a SSD and reinstalled windows. Before this It was running much faster as I saw the CPU running at a higher frequency

Use CPU-Z to check the frequency.

I mean the speed (Ghz)

Right click on start button > click control panel > click power options > click the arrow next to "hide additional plans" click "high performance"

Also go into BIOS and disable Intel SpeedStep and CPU C States. Leave Turbo Boost on.

I know. That's the frequency. CPU-Z will give you the frequency.
