DIY Case questions

I think I'm going to build my own pc case because I can't find one I like. My favorite was the s340 but the deal breaker was that it didn't have the ports (USB, audio, and power button) on the front. I think I have a pretty good idea, which is pictured below. I haven't given too much thought about the looks of the case yet.

I want feedback on this design. Below are some other concerns I have.

1. Where do I get the electronics such as the audio jacks, usb ports, and power button? Should I remove it from my current case?

2. I want this to be as quiet as possible while still having a side panel. I also need good cooling, how do I find the balance between airflow and insulation?

3. Are there any optimization you might recommend?

i Tried to create my own system few months ago. The only things i really suggest you to do is to create a 3D model of what you are going to do, thta0s very important. The electronical part i think you can buy them on Ebay or in some tech specialized sites like amazon (i'm not sure where you are from but even a local seller can have what you search for). If you go for a close test bench you can you can place some noise isolator material on the inside and try to make it look good.  Good Luck with your project :)

What about cable management? Aren’t the cables blocked by the SSD/HD and optical drive?

For USB and audio, this part is nice in that the metal surround can be easily removed and the PCB is completely enclosed in plastic:  http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Aluminum-3-5-Inch-Drive-FP32B-E/dp/B00834SJH6/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1452436971&sr=1-1&keywords=silverstone+USB+3.0X4+and+HD+Audio+Ports

I think I'll just remove the optical drive then that will open enough space for cables. or I could move it a small ways away from the separator. For psu cables there will be about a inch of space to the right of the side view and a panel on the back for them
