Two different reported clock speeds? Halp.

I don't know which to trust. I feel like GPU Tweak is correct because yesterday I was playing BF3 from the recent Twitch chat codes (Thank you chat again btw) and it was really laggy even at 720p medium settings! . I went to exit the game and looked at GPU Tweak which reported my CPU running at 1.3Ghz! I restarted my computer and ran BF3 again, this time being able to run at High setiings. Anyways, which one do I trust? If GPU Tweak is actually reporting the true clock speed, then I'm in trouble here . How do I stop my CPU from underclocking? I check my temps and they were at 55-60 degrees while playing.

Cpu-z for sure.. gpu tweak is a terrible program imo

Both monitors are correct. The GPU Tweak monitor is monitoring your graphics card (GTX 660 TI) clock speeds (1-1.3Ghz), while CPU-Z monitors your CPU(Intel Q8400) clock speeds (2.5-5Ghz).

But it says both Processor Clock, Mhz and GPU clock. I'm assuming Processor Clock is the CPU speed? I was reading that 1.3 Ghz yesterday from the part that said Processor Clock.

Oh, I didn't see that. I would still trust the CPU-Z monitor and ignore the GPU Tweak Processor clock. Also, there's no indication that "Processor Clock" is actually the CPU. You can tell that it's not the CPU not only because of CPU-Z, but because you can see that the Processor clock monitor is exactly twice the GPU clock. See, the min and max of both the GPU and Processor clock (in GPU Tweak) are exactly in 1:2 proportion of each other.
