Windows won't start

I have an Aorus x7v2 (which is a laptop) and I have upgraded it to windows 10, however whenever I'm on battery power and I try to boot it up it freezes on the last windows screen and then restarts. It does this 3 times then goes into system repair or something like that. Is there any way to fix it apart from resetting the PC. BTW it works fine when plugged into the wall
