FiiO E10K USB DAC vs Macbook pro

So im thinking about getting a FiiO E10K DAC (100$) 

But can you hear a big difference between a macbook pro mid 2014 headphone output.

Do you have HD800s? 

 

If the answer to that question is no, then no

 

But really though, unless you have high impedance headphones I wouldn't worry about it, the built in DAC is great in most regards, high impedance is where you need a separate amp like that to give a bit more punch than the mobo DAC can deliver

Compared to a mid-2009 Macbook Pro, I can't hear any difference whatsoever. The E10 doesn't get that much louder, either.

That MacBook is definitely better than my shitty Samsung laptop that I use to use my E10k with. Should be negligible difference/improvement.
