Windows 7 x64 slow on 3GB of RAM

This makes no sense whatsoever. Why on earth would an instruction set difference cause memory leaks? Memory leaks are caused by poor memory management in a low-level application’s code, which is the fault of developers. It’s not provably more common on 64-bit platforms than it is on 32-bit ones.

First of all , consider this : windows 7 32 bit needs 1GB of ram in order to run.

 

Windows 7 64 bit needs 2GB of ram to run . Same for win 8 , 8.1 and 10.

How do i disable it?

You shouldnt.Its neccesery for programs and its not advised to disable it even if you have 16 gigs of RAM.You might wanna check your harddrive S.M.A.R.T status,thats where your Pagefile is.

I agree , the term "memory leak" was not a good choice of words here , but 64 bit software DOES use more ram (pointer size , addresses ,etc)
