My bios boots first over my hard drive, I get the American mega-trends press f1 to get into setup. After that if I just exit bios it boots straight into windows with zero issues, how ever my time is always reset to sometime in 2009. It seems obvious to me that its the cmos battery however the time in bios is correct and I have suffered no loss with bios settings, so I'm not sure what to think. When I restart it just goes straight into windows and boots properly, an indicator it might be cmos battery. Other then this my computer works perfectly fine all my ram is usable and I have no bsods or any other issues.

Sounds like CMOS battery.

Even new'ish PC's suffer from this when they get NO power for ages. (ie: Not turned on for ages)

I'd order a CMOS battery or visit a store and grab one,... and throw it in there to test.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
