You can if you really feel the need to but selling your 380 and getting a R9 390X or R9 Fury is a better bet

would the performance be anything close to a 390 or 390x??? cause im thinking about selling my 380 and then saving for a 390x

It's slightly better. I own 2 R9 380 4GB's and I leave them at stock speeds and get a fairly nice boost in crossfire. Quite many games support it and it scales pretty well. The performance would be fairly higher than a 390(x), but some minor titles still do not support crossfire, or just hate crossfire/sli (i.e. Fallout 4) so performance would be better using a single faster card in a few titles..

Below is the benchmark for GTA 5 single card:

Also firestrike scores are pretty high as well.

You got nearly double the score. That's cool. Also, why does no one care about Broadwell even though it had the die shrink before Skylake?

I personally wanted broadwell to drop into my PC really bad. However, Intel fucked around and never REALLY produced the ones that mattered (5675c and 5775c). The cheapest I ever saw a 5775c in the wild was $450, not worth it when I could run to Microcenter and get a 4790k for $250.

I got mine with a discount, was only € 200 and I didn't want to go to skylake or I had to buy new RAM with it. It isn't a high overclocker, only 4.2 GHz, but I'm happy with it. It's unique and still very fast for gaming.

I've heard that using the dram as an L4 cache makes the 5775c faster than a 6700k! That's why I wanted one, lol. Not a great overclocker, but DAMN COOL.

This was also a reason I got it over a 4790k too, as it might be able to help with my gpu's to gain a few frames.

Well the next time I get enough money I'm going to get myself a 5675c :D (£165~)
