I have a computer running Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and a laptop running Windows 10 (64 bit) and I want to transfer files from the laptop over the network to a shared folder on the Windows 7 computer at the full 100 Mbps speed that my router and both network cards support but I can only transfer 1 Mbps. Please Help.

The laptop is a year old HP laptop and Window 7 computer is maybe 5 years old but has a brand new WD Blue hard drive and a network card that supports 100 Mbps.(Just a correction the transfer speeds over the network are 2 to 3 Mbps some times.)
