Lately ive been watching 1080p videos on youtube and they are buffering every few seconds. Idk why though my connect is 30 down 5 up

and the task manager internet usage shows it using all that when i run speedtest.

Now when i watch a youtube video in 1080p i get stuttering and here is my internet usage according to task manager

Only using around 4 average and im getting stuttering.

 

Whats going on? is there a way to fix this?

Is there anything downloading in the background?

Network problems are always hard to pin down, try checking the "stats for nerds" display (right-click in the video => stats for nerds) on youtube, specifically the dropped frames and the connection speed.

Nope. when chrome is closed internet usage is less that 1mb

 

don't watch during peak times.

6:30pm is a peak time?

Pretty much showing the same thing though the task manager is a bit off, maybe its the delay

well may have fixed it lol. Did a couple firewall tweaks and now look at the results lol

Absolutely no buffering, seems it was TWC Throttling my connection
