Hey i was wondering if anyone could help me out? I Just build my first ever gaming pc (amd fx 6300, R9 390 sapphire, 16 gb hyperx ddr3, crucial 120 gb ssd, cx750m psu, and corsair h60 watercolor inn a Cooler Master n200 case. The big question is I render some league of legends videos on my computer with Sony movie studio platinum 13 and am wondering how to decrease render times by allocating more ram specifically to this program. I have 16 gb of ram and currently when rendering in 1080 it shows  only 2 gb out of 16 gb for ram usage. So i was thinking if I increased the ram available for this program render times could decrease? And second off, is there some way to dedicate more of my graphics card during rendering to  help speed up the render time. I do use open CL with my r9 390, and just wondering if theirs some way I could boost this? Thanks for any help!

It will use as much ram as it needs, but you could dink around in the settings to see if you can dedicate more ram towards the program.

Also see if there is any gpu acceleration available, like the amd version of cuda.

why would you get a water cooler for a fx6300 and a CX PSU?
anyway, it'll use as much RAM as it needs and will take it as it sees fit. you don't have to do it yourself.
Try the settings and see if you can enable "hardware acceleration" or similar sounding features.
AMD does not have it's own special rendering based system such as CUDA from nVidia, but it should have openGL support like most cards.

Does OpenCL actually work when you rendering the video?
