Do Universal mounting heat sinks fit LGA-1150 motherboards?

I recently went to upgrade my cpu and motherboard, and decided I should get a heat sink, I got a hyper 212 evo with a 'universal mount' but I looked at the box and realized that lga 1150 was not on the list, it fits other Intel socket though, but I just wanted to make sure. I can post a picture of the list if you want me to.

Intel 115x sockets use the same heatsink mounting mechanism so it will work.

ALL intel 115x sockets are the same for heatsinks. So if it says it will work on any of 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, they will ALL work

All LGA 115x sockets have the same heatsink mounting. If LGA 1156 or 1155 is listed, it's also compatible with 1150 and 1151.
