Hi, people.

I know this might not be the right forum to post this on but I love LinusTech and I'm sure someone will be able to help me here.

I really like L.A. Noire (played it on PS3) and recently I built a new PC, my first ever gaming PC, oh yes and I'm loving the switch to PC gaming.

I can't for the life of me get this game to work, I have the original DVD and it installs correctly but when I try to start it, it goes to the loading screen and terminates (no error brought up).

I've gone through various "fixes" and still no luck, I know many have said it's a console port, a poorly done port but I really want to play this on PC.

If anyone can help, it will be much appriciated.

I can'r remember if the game uses Games For Windows Live, but that should be on the game box. If it does use GFWL try and uninstall it from your computer and reinstall it.

Thanks @Volbet, my copy doesn't use GFWL but I do have a game on the system that does so I will give it a try (Maybe there is a discrepancy between the two).

Sorry, I mistakenly double-posted (My first time posting). If you come across this you can ignore it, the actual post is on Troubleshooting.

(If anyone knows how to take down a post, please let me know. I don't want to piss people off having this post unnecessarily)

Sorry again.
