Z97I AC vs Z97I Gaming AC

Go to solution Solved by fire219,

Looks like the primary differences are better audio, eSATA, and a Killer Ethernet chip on the Gaming board.

You won't notice a difference with the audio unless you have a really good pair of headphones, and Killer Ethernet is a bunch of bullshit. eSATA is interesting, but I've never known anyone who actually uses it.

I'd go with the non-Gaming board, unless you really like the looks of the Gaming board.

What is the difference between the MSI Z97I AC and the MSI Z97I Gaming AC? With my incredibly inexperienced eye, I can only see a different colour scheme. So wouls it be worth it spending the extra on it?

Thank you for the answer

I can't see anything else than the color scheme and that the gaming one has 2 more usb 2.0 ports on the back.

Thank you both for that

My supposed colour scheme doesn't make sense so I'll go with the standard one.

Again many thanks
