Borderlands 2 FPS AMD FIX?

CPU: AMD ATHLON 860k 3.7Ghz

RAM: 2x4gb HyperX Fury

GPU: XFX R9 380 4gb

MOBO: Gigabyte f2a58m-hd2

Monitor: BENQ GL2460HM 1920x1080

 

Right now my game runs like 120fps in some areas but when im in fights and in large areas like the city of oppertunity my fps runs down like crazy? Can you help me fix this

Set the phsyics to low, lower draw-distance.

 

And yeah, that 860K isn't anything special. So expect the occasional drop.

Shadows can be generally quite CPU heavy too, I haven't played that game though.

Lower tessellation in CCC Or Crimson, and disable Physics (PhysX)

How do I disable PhysX?

That happens to me to,as far as I can remember.In non combat areas FPS is at full blast,when at combat it drops ignificantly.Using a 4350.
