Which MOBO?

Go to solution Solved by Piemanfood,

Leagues pretty good to do all of that, also Smites good if you want a bit of a challenge more than League.

So this is my goal on a build im trying to put together.

Play on a single 2560x1440 monitor.

Get 2nd monitor for when I start streaming.

Will play games, stream,do some basic/simple video editing

CPU will be i7-6700k

GPU will be SLI GTX 980 ti

and im leaning towards intel 750 SSD series PCI-E 400GB.

which MOBO will be enough for my SLI GPU and possibly the INTEL 750 SSD PCI-E? reason why i ask i remember watching a video about you need to consider how many PCI-E or something like that MOBO can have or handle and the GPU and even the INTEL use up like x16 or something like that.

I dont plan on adding or upgrading in the future just gonna stay with 2 GPU build.

I would get a 5820k for the video editing and get something like an MSI SLI Plus, Asus X99-A etc.

aight coo thanks for the info and Piemanfood.....LMAO

I would suggest the Asus Z170-Deluxe motherboard, seeing that you have highend gear, I'd say get a high end motherboard.

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240
