Get a better PSU, maybe a S12 from seasonic.

Painting the GPU will void the warranty. I'ld sooner get the Sapphire Nitro version as it won't clash by default. PSU is fine, but I agree on preferring SeaSonic OEM PSUs over the Flextronic OEM that EVGA uses. I have a 7y/o SeaSonic OEM (Antec NeoPower 650 Blue) still kicking when the EVGA Supernova G1000 died on me in 9 months and took out my motherboard too. Doesn't happen to everyone, but does happen.

 

EDIT: You can nix the fans too. The stock fans will work fine and are quiet even at full RPM.
