Hi I bought a LG 29uc97c. Everything Seems fine but I cant seem to get the resolution correct. It does not allow me to run the monitor at native 2560x1080 and when I use costome resolution to set to 2560x1080 the destop looks blurred I am using hdmi on the monitor to and adeptor to a mini display port cause my gtx970 does not support hdmi type a pls help

That should work, but what GTX970 are you using I don't think I'veseen one without a built in HDMI out. Aslo make sure your HDMI cable your using is a revision 1.3 cable.

Mine is a palit gtx 970 jetstream with hdmi type c

 

It's mini Hdmi so it does have it just nto regular full size, however unless the mini DP to HDMI should work unless for some odd reason it needs to be an active adapter. The card does have a DVI port though so getting something as simple as a DVI to HDMI cable or DVI to HDMI adapter will work.
