Intergrated Graphics

Is it possible to use your integrated graphics card for your screen and use your gpu for pure rendering? Would that even be efficient?

If you install the card, but only hook up your display to your integrated GPU, you might be able to use the card inside of some programs. However, this is simply not a very good idea.
