Hey guys,

Currently I use Oracles VirtualBox which seems to be fine but this year I want to upgrade my PC so I can replicate what Linus did with his 2 Gamers 1 PC video and I'm not sure VB will be able to pull that off.

It wont. You need a bare metal hypervisor. You can use Citrix XenServer or HyperV or something else but VirtualBox is a hosted hypervisor so it wont do what you want it to do.
