You're good. The Xeon is faster than most i5s and the 680 is faster than a 960

what are you using it for? and why a 680 they are two generations old?

get it for free, sell it and get an i5 and get a better GPU

Not worth. i5 4460 or i5 6400 would be a considerable downgrade.

The Xeon might bottleneck depending on the title. As the turbo 2,5Ghz will work when two cores used. You will be stuck with 2 Ghz.

However as it is for free and comes with motherboard you will get those games running no problem. Depending on MB you also can make a low overclock. But probalby you will get stuck on 103-105 mhz blck
