Hello! I am new to these forums, and I need some help. I've come here mainly because I need some help on my PC that I built recently. Here is the link to the system and all the parts on PcPartpicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/crackymoto/saved/sfpwrH . Basically, I have a  Intel Core i3-4170 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor and a MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card, and I recently saw Linus' video on bottlenecking. It seems that these two components have somewhat of a drastic difference, and I'm wondering if I need to get a better CPU in order to get the full potential of my $200+ GPU that I have seen better preformace from a $140 Nvidia card. I play pretty basic games: Minecraft, Counter-Strike, some emulators, Steam games. If you need more information on how to help, please ask. Thank you.

I don't think it would be anything too bad. Upgrade to something like a 4460 if you're worried.
