Custom one pro plus cable with inline controls

I'm wanting the custom one pro plus cable, a few questions if anyone has the pro pluses, does it work on Android i.e the inline controls I've tried my brothers beats cable the inline controls only worked on Apple based products for some reason.http://europe.beyerdynamic.com/custom/template/productimages/big/709115.png

( I have the custom one pros non plus version they're exactly the same except the cable IIRC)
