GTX 980ti

So i finally got my new 850wat psu and my 980ti installed the 980ti should have 6gb off dedicated video ram correct? My Windows 7 Ultimate edition is only showing 2 gigs of dedicated video ram all my drivers are up to date does anyone know how to fix this issue?

i understand the bottleneck im upgrading my processor in the near future any recommendations?  Also i remember there was a way to check how much vram u have inside windows i just don't remember how but on GPU-Z seems to be showing all 6 gigs.

It'll probably come up in your bios too, if you wanna be extra sure.

Overclocking? a 4690k and a z97.

Not overclocking but maybe upgrading to an unlocked chip or an i7? 4460 or 4590 with a z97 board.

Not overclocking and no plans to move forward in the haswell series? 4460 or 4590 (or higher if you have the money) and an h97.
