Multi-sync

Hi there,

I'm a motion designer and a videographer, I have projects with huge file sizes.

 

I work on a Desktop and a Laptop. I'm looking for a solution to sync my projects folder on my two workstations. I want to have the data locally on both workstations, so if I go off-site I would be able to work on my laptop and when I get home sync up the changes to my desktop. (or via VPN if the changes that crucial) I have a server for that, so the workstation doesn't have to be powered on and I don't have to wait to the sync to finish.
So the main problem is how to keep in sync  folders on  machines.

@Byter3 I think Linus mentioned a software that looked for changes and synced folder in the latest server video, that or the server video before that one. Not sure if tht's what you were looking for however it will sync and look for changes like you wanted, it's one of the unraid videos he did

Bittorrent Sync would have been my answer. Problem with that, or with free version, is that it will sync everything in set folder. Until you move stuff manually to another folder. Or remove some other way. So when working with small storage drive which syncs everything with certain folder, it can get tight with space.
