Is this good for a starter pc (1080p med-high settings gaming?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8RTCNG

I bought everything except the monitor. Any tips you would give me or would recommend I should change or upgrade in the future? Thanks to all who help.

EDIT: I forgot to mention I already have a power supply. 750W so I have room for upgrades.

Did you already purchase all this? because I'd swap the 6300 for a i3 from either skylake or haswell and then get Windows 10 of reddit to save yourself $30.

I would get a better CPU. Something like a low end i3. And you don't need that many case fans or fan controller. Save some money there and get a better CPU.

FX 6300 > i3 4130 btw

i3 6100 yes

i3 4130 is a downgrade

i5 4460 or bust

Will It be a big bottle neck? I choose it because it has 6 cores for a cheap price so I can do things like Skype, game, and broadcast at ease.

I don't know off the top of my head. It's not where I'm at.

If its some no name brand, throw it out. You don't want it blowing up and causing other problems in your system. Go with a well know PSU maker. There should be a post on LTT forums. Ill like it to you if I can find it. But pretty much anything from EVGA, Corsair or seasonic is good.

Don't think it will be a bottleneck but more cores doesn't always mean better.

Yes I did. I don't trust OS's from anything other than the company who makes it.

More Core ~= Better Performance.

In games, 4 cores are much better because games prefer fewer, faster cores.

You only need 4 cores or less for that kind of multitasking.
