How long will this pc last?

I am doing a which is cheaper in the long term PC or console (For my youtube channel)

(here we all know that PC is cheaper because steam sales i am just explaining to the peasants)

 

So how long will this setup last before it cant handle new games on mid settings at 30fps

CPU:I5-6400 Skylake 2.7GHZ

GPU;Asus strix Gtx 970 OC 4gb

Ram:16Gb

At 1080p

noone can say that for now, future can't be predicted

 

but mid 30fps, i would say about 5 years at least (1080p)

I hope you're not saying that in your YouTube videos? or if you are at least in a satirical fashion. Explaining things and trying to get people to jump ship is all well and good, but people are hardly going to listen if you're bad mouthing them

If you don't go crazy with your overclock it won't hurt the lifespan that much

For medium settings it'll last for a while. The biggest issue you will face will (probably) be the lack of vram, seeing as more games are needing at least 3gb nowadays. My 1gb 7770 can still get high/med settings in games.
