Youtube Subscription Fix

Hello everyone,

if you recently have any problems with getting e-mails about new video post from your subscriptions on youtube like me then try the following.

1. Go to your channel
   
2. Click on "My subscriptions" on the left above "SUBSCRIPTIONS"
   
3. Click on "Manage subscriptions" above the videos for your subscriptions
   
4. Look for "Email with new uploads" tab and check all the boxes that you want to get notices from when they post a new video. There isn't a save or anything like that.
   
5. Wait for next post from your selected subscriptions
   

This worked for me. Please share with all you know once it works for you too.

I don't understand the tl;dr lingo.......The box next to each subscription that you have is what you will be checking. step four is in the attached photo.

My problem with subscriptions is when i unsubbed to alot of channels a few days ago i still get them in my subscription box.....

Ok, i am glad you explained it for me but i did not find the explanation is too long and this is the only way to fix the e-mail notification problem properly as youtube is still fixing the kinks in there code. For what ever reason the subscriptions is one of their code problems. All i know is after a week of reconfiguring my youtube settings, this worked and i have not had is reset as yet. Thought i would share with everyone.

Have you unsubbed the channels in you settings or just at the channel itself, if you did the later then you need to go in to manage subcriptions and remove the channels you want to unsubscribe to and it should work. If it works please let me know and share it to everyone.
