Being able to hear myself when gaming

I recently acquired some sennheiser HD 558s and an antlion modmic and I love them both. My only issue is once I begin gaming and there is a lot of noise going on in the game, I can't hear myself when I speak so I tend to talk really loud. All of the gaming headsets that I have used had the feature that I was able to hear myself when I spoke so I talked at a normal level. Is there a way I can accomplish this with my current setup?

Go to your speakers on your desktop right click it and go to Recording devices. Right click your microphone and properties under the Listen tab listen to this device
