PSU Help

Go to solution Solved by z97,

Yes

I wanted to have a custom built computer, but circumstances have proven that to not be possible. I have a Dell 8700 and I want to upgrade the PSU and graphics card; but I need help figuring out what power supply is going to fit in it. It is a mid-tower case, and I need at least 650w since I plan to overclock my graphics card (GTX 980).

Here are the current parts to my Dell 8700:

-Intel i7 4790

-GTX 745 (going to upgrade to GTX 980)

-460w PSU (going to upgrade to at least 650w)

-16GB DDR3 RAM (4 x 4GB)

-1TB Hard Drive

Any psu should fit that as long as it's not a boat.. they are standard ATX.
