Why is it that when i try to install Linux for another computer using mine (I unplug my hard drives because my computer is WWWAAAAAYYYYYY faster than the one I'm installing it on) it brings up some wierd command stuff, but when i do it in a virtual bot it works just fine?

I have no idea what you're saying you tried to do, but why aren't you just using a live USB/CD to install your distribution of choice?  Also what exactly is happening?  "command stuff" isn't particularly informative.  Is it showing you a bunch of weird text and then not letting you do anything?  Is it showing you a terminal prompt instead of a graphical interface?

Install the Linux onto the system and drive you intend. Don't use your faster system for the install...

Why? because the hardware detect is going to find differences, and it is better to do the install on the real and actual hardware you are going to use.

As for 32bit vs 64bit. I have installed the 64 bit version on every one of my pcs, and the two laptops, also. The CPUs they have are all 64bit, so why not use it.

And I suggest using Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS as your install software. If Windows, still an issue because of the hardware specific drivers.
