Hi all. I got my fancy new pc stoofs today :DDDDDDDDDD

Upgraded my motherboard, CPU, and CPU cooler.

Here goes:

 

Stuff arrived @ house:

That's about it. Sorry I'm terrible at this. No decent camera and overall boring.

Anywho yeah I no longer think the 212 evo is a waste (i used to think a cpu cooler that costs $30 is basically a stock intel cooler.)

After a quick recap thanks to Linus' Devil Canyon OC guide, I got it stable @ 4.4ghz at stock voltage. Any higher I was unstable, so I set the voltage on adaptive and it's stable at 4.6ghz!

The temps don't go passed 80*C in Aida64 and in gaming its below 70*C. I'm VERY pleased and couldn't recommend this cooler enough. As for the board, it's fine. It's a simple z97 with normal z97 functions. It handles the overclocks fine and will serve me well for years to come :)

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.
