Hypothetical question

Go to solution Solved by ToniBamboni,

I guess you could make a dongle that has two DIMM slots that uses one. I don't know if that would work though. The BIOS probably wouldn't like it too much either.

I don't know if this is the right place for this question but is it possible to have some kind of mod to hook up two sticks of RAM into one DIMM slot? I don't know why someone would do this but I was just thinking about this and was wondering if it was somehow possible and what would happen.

I wouldn't be able to say for sure but I highly doubt it. The DIMM slots use all the connection for a single stick, I dont't think they could share...

A dongle would split it but how would the double set of pins inferface with the regular single DIMM slot?

Maybe a splitter kinda thing? But yeah even if someone managed I doubt the bios would like it xD
