Battlefield 4 Low FPS

Hey guys,

 

I recently got bf4 and while playing online I get huge drops in frames from about 90 to 30 or under on Ultra with x2 MSAA. I have an fx-8320 OC'ed to 4.5Ghz and a r9 290. This has never happened to me in other games,

I am currently using Mantle in-game. Any suggestions?

Temperatures.

Have you checked them?

High temp = throttling = fps drop.

Temps are less then 40°C at all times, using a be quiet dark rock pro 3.

Check to see if this happens in anyother games. Also as they said above remove your over clock.

All other games work as expected.

What's happening in -game during these frame drops? Don't get me wrong, the 290 is nice. But at Ultra with 2xMSAA, even it can drop below 60. Also, what is your resolution?

There doesn't seem to be any pattern with the drops and I'm only playing at 1920x1080.
