Ok so the Christmas gift I gave to someone had BSOD while he's playing. I suspect it is because of the temperature.

It is an APU A8-7600.

So im thinking to purchase an aftermarket cooler for the PC. But I dont have big budget for Hyper 212.

They say Hyper T4 is good as well but I am wondering if there's something much cheaper than 212 or T4 than can provide same good cooling for the APU.

Have you been keeping track of the temps?

No because the one using it is just a kid. Anyway he physically checked it when BSOD happened. He said it was very hot including the ram.

It might help to check the load temps with OCCT.

What's OCCT?

I instructed him to try Afterburner and made video on how but he said his game is crashing if Afterburner is on. Next I instructed him to use OHM but still he hasnt sent feedback regarding the temps.

It's a useful program for testing temps and such. http://www.ocbase.com/

Thank you so much. We'll try that..

Btw.. Do you know a CPU cooler that is cheaper than T4 but performs similar? If none then I'll just purchase T4.

Pricing depends on where you're shopping/located.
