Portforwarding

Go to solution Solved by tt2468,

if portforward doesn't work

you can always try UPnP

just enabled it from your modem/router GUI

and it will give access to any software/games that requires specific port to operate.

But you cant use upnp with a minecraft server ;). Your tcp port should be 25565 and you shouldnt enter in a udp port, as minecraft only uses tcp.

I have been trying to portforward multiple game servers now and it works on my wifi in my house but in my place in the backyard i have a D-link router and portwarding doesnt work.

my D-link router does not have the External and internalports only TCP and UDP Port, someone pls help

Are you trying to do it over the Internet?

I see you're dutch.

Neem een kijkje in dutch talk, hieronder staat de link, daar zijn alle nederlanders :)

(ook handig als je dingen wilt uitleggen in het nederlands)

Can you give us more details, the situation in not quite clear..

Is the router on a separate Internet connection or are the routers connected?

I asked because I'm sure some people have some wacky setups and I thought I would just clear that up.
