Hi,

So I just got a new computer and it has been setup and working great for a few days. It has a brand new gtx 970 in it but now I think there is something wrong with it. Whenever I enter Assassins Creed Syndicate the screen flashes purple a few times and when I go to the loading screen my whole screen starts flashing purple on the screen like the screen is divided horizontally in 3 sections. When I actually get into the game there is lines all through the screen and everything is distorted. I don't know if it is the game since this hasn't ever happened before or if its something wrong with my pc.

Please help. I really don't want to have to throw away my brand new gpu seeing how much money I spent on it.

All I had to do was turn down the settings a bit (from 1440p to 1080p (I have a GTX 970 and it probably couldn't handle the high settings))and wait for the game to fully update and install. This fixed it as long as you don't turn quality settings or anything when your in the game (not at the main menu). If you are in the game and do this it will still do the same thing and you have to quit and restart the game.
