124 blue screen

Recently I have assembled my new computer:

Maximus VII hero motherboard

Intel I7 4790k processor

GTX 980 By Ninvidia as videocard

Now the problem when i use my PC for productivity example: word, power point internet surfing it's all good but when I try to play some games on it for more less 30 minutes my PC show to me blue screen 0x00000124 please help me. Sorry for my bad English

Is anything overclocked?

Recently I have assembled my new computer:

Maximus VII hero motherboard

Intel I7 4790k processor

GTX 980 By Ninvidia as videocard

Now the problem when i use my PC for productivity example: word, power point internet surfing it's all good but when I try to play some games on it for more less 30 minutes my PC show to me blue screen 0x00000124 please help me. Sorry for my bad English

Ok what I advice is you run a couple of stress tests.

Memtest86: http://www.memtest86.com/ ( For your ram)

Prime95: http://download.cnet.com/Prime95-64-bit/3000-2053_4-75869492.html (For your CPU)

And Furmark: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/   (for your GPU)

Run these test individually for like 30min - 1Hour each and see if you can recreate with any of these tests.

This might reveal which component causes your problem, and then we can focus on that component.

Have you by any chance monitored your CPU temps during the prime 95 test? Maybe the crashes are caused by overheating.

      If this is the case you might need to reapply thermal-paste.

If not try installing the most recent chipset drivers from asus' website for you motherboard.

124 normally refers to faulty hardware.

Either your overclock is really unstable,

The computer is set up incorrectly,

A component is faulty,

Or you don't have enough cooling which is making your computer overheat.

It's not a race to the bottom.
