Getting back from dead

I have my first comp. Dell Optiplex GX260,am trying to get it to function,i managed to get it boot but on XP system there is password which i surely forgot.

I want to install "legal" Win 7,but i only have 512 mb of RAM.

I heard that this mobo can support up to 2 gigs.

Can anyone help my out to find which type of RAM and on which frequency is this mobo using?

I bought a couple of those for my business over a dozen years ago and they were P4's so they use DDR1 RAM.  I think mine were 2.2GHz but you could order them with different CPUs.

I see. Well it most likely has DDR memory so just look for 2GB of it on eBay, the speed shouldn't matter.
