So my 750Watt Rosewill power supply is shitting the bed and I'm looking at an EVGA 850Watt 80Gold power supply, in case I want to upgrade to the 6700k with DDR4 memory and another 980Ti. Now would I see a performance increase when it comes to overclocking my 4770k/980Ti setup getting an 850watt power supply or should I go with their 750watt model?

i would suggest a 1000w

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

850w is indeed enough

I'd say 850W isn't enough for 980 ti sli, I'd go for the 1000P2, it's more efficient and has a fan less mode. Although, if each card is capable of 375WX2=750W, then add 200W for everthing else, it's still cutting it close... If you want to be safe go for the 1200P2.

i would suggest a 1000w

850w is plenty. Any more is overkill. Look at some actual power draw benchmarks. http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-ti-review,8.html

Would I see a performance increase going with an 850w ps? Also this Rosewill power supply is 80 bronze and lasted only 3 years. boo.

No, the psu doesn't affect performance. It either is or isn't enough to power the system.
