SYMPTOMS
A computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 may crash when you use some IEEE 1394 devices. Additionally, you may receive a Stop error message that resembles the following:
STOP 0x0000003B (Parameter1, Parameter2, Parameter3, Parameter4)

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

CAUSE
This issue occurs because of an error in the Microsoft IEEE 1394 driver stack, in which the buffer that is allocated to the driver stack does not initialize correctly.

tbh if it was only one a while back I wouldn't worry.

UNLESS:

- Prime95 causes a bluescreen

- Bluescreens get frequent

- Artifacting appears

It has become somewhat frequent as of now, and what is artifacting and what is prime 95?

@Topkek Follow the BSOD posting instructions!

I know, but I'm first testing JakePC's test to see if it is crashing, and I do not feel that it is completely necessary to create a completely new thread until I have tested and possibly resolved my problem with JakePC's fix/ test

Post the dump files in this thread. Randomly following advice without actually looking at the dump files is like shooting a gun while blindfolded. The dump files tell us exactly what caused the BSOD, down to the service, driver, memory stack information, etc.

There is a reason its pinned in the top of the troubleshooting subforum. I'd recommend you follow my advice (considering I wrote the BSOD posting instructions and actually help people by looking at dump files is WinDBG).

OK fair enough. Was just trying to nail it down to CPU, RAM or motherboard issues instead of drivers.

I had actually just ran the windows driver verifier and AsUpIO.sys triggered a BSOD during the process according to the verifier, could this be the possible culprit?
