ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH74

The ASUS ROG gaming laptop is a good entry level laptop. There are to versions of the laptop with the only difference being a 128GB ssd and an extra 2GB VRAM.

On the top it has ROG metallic finish. On the left side there are 2 USB 3.0 ports. A Ethernet port, 1 HDMI port and a power jack. Moving around to the right side you will find Headphone and microphone ports. Another USB 3.0 port and a CD drive. Please note that this is not a DVD reader. On the inside it has a nice evenly spaced keyboard that has red LED

Erm?

EDIT: since you're writing a review, I'd also like to add something that you may or may not have missed. The CPU and GPU share heat as they use the same channel of heatpipes resulting in higher temps overall when both are loaded up. Maxes with P95 and Furmark run around 95*C for the CPU and 85-88*C for the GPU

The top is plastic with a small piece of aluminum which results in a rather unstable screen. There are 2 version - 1 has a full-cover aluminum sheet which sort of fixes that.

EDIT2: I believe the DVD Burner can be removed and a 3rd HDD/SSD can be placed in it's place.
