GTA V will auto update unless its a pirate copy. Mine updates through rockstar social, all other versions update through their respective seller aka steam, origin etc

I have gta v ver. 1.0, and newest update 6 (1.0.372.2), am i must update ver. 1.01 then xxx then xxx orfirst or i just go to update 6  (1.0.372.2)????

The game will update automatically via the platform you bought it on, and via the Social Club if you bought the game as a stand-alone product.
