New memory broke computer
First post, sucks it's on a bad note...
I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M58p that runs:
Evga Geforce GT 730, 64-Bit Windows Vista, 4GB PC3- 8500u RAM, 2 hard drives, and a Intel Core 2 Duo. It serves me well, for gaming, and I personally like Vista, waiting to upgrade to Windows 10. I needed more RAM, was upgrading to 8GB of Crucial's 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600 PC3-12800. When I put in the ram, the computer started beeping at me. It died a few days ago, I was able to get it running with one of the original sticks of ram. The Crucial ram fried 2 of my sticks, and with only Crucial Ram in my computer, it gives a beepcode of 3-3-3-3. Does the Crucial warranty cover this as it said on their website it was supposed to work with my desktop?
Here's the link to their website- http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Lenovo/thinkcentre-m58p-%28type--7347%2C-7357%2C-7358%2C-7483%2C-7484%2C-7630%2C-7635%2C-9964-and-9965%29
