Fan Cable?

Mikealongo

My motherboard has no fan headers, is there a way to power the fans by a sata or a molex?

is there any drawback by power it by another way?

Well your fan will only run at a constant speed, ideally running them under volts to 5V or 7V will make them more quiet. If you do have a fan header but it is taken up you can use a splitter to add more connections, the rule of thumb is 3-4 fans per fan header to not overload it.

My motherboard has one fan header for the cpu and another one for chasis i guess, but the motherboard itself is really bad, and is powered by the 24 pin and the cpu by 4 pin, in that case, i can use a splitter and in theory there wont be any drawback?

If you can link some one here perfect =)

You can buy molex to 3 pin fan header adapters.

can you please link someone here please? (if its ffrom amazon the best xD)

i would buy molex to 4 pin fan connectors then get some fan speed reducer thingys

speed reducer

There isn't a problem with using a fan splitter as long as you don't over do it as said, something like this would work well:

The fans will be the AF140 LED from corsair, my nex question is a little bit silly, but whats the speed reducer for? xD

speed reducer keeps it quieter if your not bothered by fan noise you can disregard them

Click on CPF02 that has a 3 way splitter, and here is another one also:

If you have the 760T yes you can use the manual fan controller for more connections, but as for splitting them I probably wouldn't add more than one or two extra to that controller since we don't know how much current draw that can take.
