So someone offered to trade my < a month old EVGA GTX 760 fr a Sapphire 7970(reference) left with 6 months of warranty. But I'm require to top up abt $50+

Any ideas? I've saved nearly enought fr another 760 to sli but just wondering if the 384 bit bus could utilize 3Gb vRam better when I Xfire it.

I play on 1200p. Maybe 1440p in the following years.

SLI > Xfire at the moment.

They are pretty darn close to even with frame timing performance in 2 way sli/crossfireX scenarios at so if I was you I would go with crossfire 7970.

(shouldn't be too hard with the current price drops from AMD.

They are close yes, but (I'll admit idk with the latest drivers from amd) xfire has more frequent fps dips.

I would keep it and SLI.

Keep it and decide to SLI later after 9970/9950 launch.
