NO FANS BUILD?

Is it possible to use watercooling to a point where the fans can just STOP spinning!

I mean EXTREME watercooling. Like a 900D FILLED up With external rads and stuff!

Only one Gpu, and one CPU, a silent power supply (like by getting a power supply with so much extra watts it doesn't have to use it's fans because it's running at like 20%)

I mean I don't have the money for ANYWHERE near this, I was just wondering?

Yes but by then you would have to have a bunch of pumps which would make more noise than 1 pump and some fans

Over distance the pressure would drop so that doesn't work. You could just run passive coolers on the CPU and GPU.

doing this requires ridiculous amounts of rads, like the amount you would have in a rad box, and then have 2 MCP35X pumps (which run rather quietly) along with it, won't look clean but it's the most convential option, other than getting a 900D and filling every single possible spot with rads

You don't want the power supply to be at 20%,it'll have terrible efficiency.

 

could yo run it with the fans not spinning?depending on the configuration and situation,maybe.

 

with something like an i5 3570K and a GTX 760 you might be able to run fanless while gaming.

with something like a GTX 780 you'd get fanless while idle,but I doubt you'd be able to run fanless at gaming load.

 

Why not just buy Noctua fans and run them with the included low noise adapter (7v I think),it'll run at 18.6db for something like the NF-F12,which for all intents and purposes is dead silent,something like 30db is ambient noise,so you won't even notice the fans.

You don't even need water, you can have a completely passively cooled system.

Well there's literally room for like 50 120mm rads in there if you have dual pedistals
