Help me make it pretty!

So I recently built a new PC or well most of it...

Specs:

I7 6700k
H110i GT
MSI Krait z170

16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2666mhz
EVGA 850w PSU
Hynix 240GB SSD
Corsair air 540 case

 

You might be thinking... something is missing... Yep no GPU... yet. Waiting to get some cash from someone then I'll be grabbing a 980 ti. So usually at this point with a computer build I'd stick a gpu in and leave it but for once I actually really like the way it looks with the whole black and white theme on the motherboard so i'm planning on going for the 980 TI Hof as its one of the few white 980 tis I've seen and some white DDR4 in the last 2 slots to bump it up to 32GB at some point. 

I've been doing research on LED lighting, LED fans etc... And I really don't have a clue where to start, what lighting colours to go for and all that. Can anyone think of some good ideas? Was also thinking of changing the fans out from the standard ones that came with the case/cooler to some more visually appealing ones. Thought about push/pull for the rad but that would be pointless, oced this as far as im comfortable (4.6ghz) and it still wont go above 50*C (I'm sure that'll change with a gpu in) Any and all help is appreciated, for once lets see if I can't produce a nice looking pc rather than one that just performs well! Currently my budget stands at about another £200 ($290) but don't necessarily want to spend that much, hard drives and stuff like that i'll grab around mid January and i've already decided on another 250GB ssd, a WD black/blue and a WD green to store all my stuff for my media server I'll be running off of this thing.

For lighting if you want nice even light LED strips are the way to go LED fans can illuminate but don't do as good of a job expect if your wanting that fan type glow behind meshed grills. If your just wanting single color LED's AddonCustoms and Modguru both make great lights. 

 

Another if you want to make your case unique or look different is getting vinyl decals they are fairly easy to apply and can change things up.

This card would match your color scheme nicely. For lighting you can find some nzxt lighting strips to put around the border of your window.

A white and black GPU!!! Nice find! I did have a look at the NZXT Hue+ seems like a great easy option, comes wth 4 strips if I remember so was thinking of doing 1 at top on inside of window, 1 at bottom in same place, maybe 1 at the front to kind of glow through the fan grill and perhaps 1 underneath due to the open design of the 540 to create an underglow effect or as has been mentioned LED fans at the front/top to illuminate the fan grills.

Definitely one on the top and bottom will show off your parts nicely. I would go with fans to illuminate the front and have a strip for an underglow look on the bottom. Might be too much light, if so the underglow might not be necessary.

Hmm on the topic of decals perhaps I could work with a friend of mine who's rather artsy to get something drawn up for my PC and get it printed. Seen a few websites that offer that service.

Ok ordering an NZXT Hue+ for sure, 3xAF120 for the front intake and an AF140 for the rear. Im undecided on the radiator as they only seem to do SP140 fans in LED format? WTF? Considering also buying a fan controller, ones with screens are out of the question due to the vertical nature of the air 540 case haha, but ones with dials are fine. Seen a six channel one which would cover all of my needs.

On the topic of the radiator I may move it into a pull config to showcase the radiator more in the case and hide the plain black fans out of sight. Talked with my friend and he's up for helping me with a design for a vinyl decal. Cant wait till 4th of jan (GPU DAY!!!) at which point I should have the lighting in, correct fans and possibly a fan controller.

If only I had a gpu to paint ;( Had an led strip left over so decided to try underglow, cant really see it in this picture but it works great.

 

Didn't order any fans yet as I was looking as possibly going for the noctua 3000RPM ones now that they're a decent colour haha, I really dont care about if this thing is loud as 90% of the time I have my headphones on =P MORE AIRFLOW I WANT MORE.

To do list:

1) Get a gpu next monday
2) Order fans the week after
3) Come up with a cool vinyl design with my friend
4) Play games
