It could and would probably look cool but the huge size of the fan would make it so you hear the air alot more but the fan would be silent.

Well If you make it clean then it would be awesome, I mean good airflow and quiet but making it look clean would be hard...

Not if the intakes are not very nicely dust filteret. 

As for your mod, it would work, it would be ugly, loud and dirty. But it would get you better temps. 

Also it might destroy your motherboard as some of the bigger particles hit.
